| Kyle Whitlock, Keyboards Kyle is from Columbia, South Carolina-where he is a studio composer of many genres of music, and also a musician-for-hire in many different jazz and variety music ensembles. He also composes music for radio and public television. He has played keyboards and drums/percussion professionally for over 30 years, and has written a huge catalog of instrumental compositions. His writing encompasses a blend of musical styles and themes including Modern jazz, Progressive Rock, R & B, Electronica, World, and Solo piano.. He has performed in major cities such as New York, Nashville, and Las Vegas throughout his career. He is a member of the Funkdawgs, the world's first virtual jazz-fusion group. The band members create compelling music tracks using the internet to exchange files from members all over the world. The group has released three CD’s of original |
music which are available at iTunes.com and CDbaby.com. The Funkdawgs won the grand
prize in Netmusicmakers.com’s virtual band competition in 2006. In addition the group had
several songs featured in Guitar One, a magazine with international distribution for guitarists.
By day Kyle works as a Broadcast Technician for South Carolina Educational Television. He
majored in Business Administration at the University of South Carolina.
